San Diego

Craig and I were able to go to San Diego over Craig's spring break. It was one of our favorite vacations and we wish we could have stayed longer, or forever... We didn't have much time to relax, but we were able to have lots of adventures!

Picture re-cap (completely out of order):
With a starfish at the tidepools in Carlsbad - some guy found this starfish, let us use it for pictures and then  put it back. Hopefully we didn't traumatize it. Do starfish have feelings??

Beach in Carlsbad
Anthony's Grotto in downtown San Diego. So yummy! We had a pelican keeping us entertained during our meal - it kept diving into the ocean.
We found a farmers' market on Saturday. Most people brought their dogs, but this guy brought his snake.
Also at the farmers' market. A bunch of older men playing bocce ball.
San Diego Temple - it's beautiful!

Craig learning to gold pan at the Mormon Battalion history site.
Balboa Park where we tried to find a surrey bike to rent... Sadly, the surrey bikes must be seasonal because they were nowhere to be found.
USS Midway talking to a WWII veteran.
USS Midway kitchen - it reminded me of my food service internship days.
Disneyland!
Toy Story ride.

Proof that we went on the Screamin' California.
